Job Summary
The Senior Lead position is designed to be a working lead position with an emphasis in the field working alongside their technicians for mentoring, coaching and development purposes. The Senior Lead is responsible for plant wash down, operation of control room, maintenance of crushing and conveying equipment and PM repair functions performed in plant/blending area.
Oversee the safe, efficient and productive operation of the Plant crews. Position is under direct supervision of the Plant General Foreman. Position is responsible for directing and mentoring technicians on their assigned crew.
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must work safely and promote the safe behavior in others.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate work with plant and other operational areas on the mine site.
• Minimum of three (2) years of plant experience in mining
• Prefer prior experience as a Step-up / Crew Lead in a surface mining operation.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate train load out systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and water pumps.
• Able to abide by and ensure compliance with all Company rules and guidelines, and all applicable state and federal laws.
• Ability to direct employees to work in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
• Ability to solve problems and situations arising in the maintenance operations.
• Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Proven history of innovation, inspiration, collaboration and execution.
• Other duties as assigned by the company.

Education
