Title: Data Governance Specialist
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Data Governance Specialist to join our team. This person will govern the data which flows from HR systems and applications under the direction of the Lead, HRIS Business Partner and to serve as a primary resource for performance data efforts which support the global Peabody Business Services (PBS) process including but limited to: Hire-to-Retire (H2R) and various PBS and non-PBS projects.
This position will also serve as a back-up to the Employee Services Team by providing customer service and support for issues that arise concerning data services related to Human Resources (HR), Benefits and Payroll. The role will involve troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving issues to ensure that HR related systems run smoothly and data integrity is maintained.
Duties will include:
- Support US and Australian HR, payroll and IT teams with timely and accurate data management between SuccessFactors, UKG and SAP, including system maintenance, reporting, training, customer service and any additional modules.
- Manage data integrations with downstream systems such as Employee Central Payroll, Benefits, OKTA.
- Responsible for data compilation and analysis to track and assess varying aspects of data maintenance performance to help identify opportunities for improvement. Design, develop and run queries, complex reports, graphs, etc. to provide metrics and analytics for stakeholders.
- Support with various continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Run periodic audits of data between the various systems, identifying discrepancies and missing data and working with the appropriate region to correct or update the information.
- Liaise with corporate and site customers to work through reported issues, as well as providing feedback for improving levels of service from the PBS team.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation.

This position is a full-time role, working from our corporate headquarters in St Louis, MO. Peabody offers flexible work policies, including hybrid office / home working arrangements. The salary range for this role is $74,000 to $92,000.
About you:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in corporate HR environment.
- Experience with SuccessFactors & SAP systems.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience ad hoc query writing in SAP products preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience ad hoc query writing in SuccessFactors products preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve goals.
- Commitment to a high level of customer service and problem solving.
- Experience with creating, maintaining and reporting from multi-source databases strongly desired.
- Detail-oriented and strong troubleshooter with proactive approach to problem-solving.

Physical requirements:
- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing.
- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment.
