About the role:

We are currently seeking a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner – Learning and Development at our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

 

Reporting to the Director of HR – US Operations, this role will manage several learning and development programs to promote and enable ongoing individual, group, and organization development and increased performance aligned with business goals and strategies. This role will also conduct learning needs analysis, develop or advise others on development of content design and collaborate with global partners to deliver a consistent learning experience for employees

 

Duties will include:

  • Manages all aspects of several development programs including intern/graduate, supervisor, manager and leader development programs to promote personal development and increase performance
  • Collaborates with leaders, subject matter experts and HR to identify and deliver employee learning and development needs using multiple methods
  • Facilitates and / or coordinates learning and development events designed to enhance performance and support the achievement of business results
  • Manages learning and development projects using effective project management techniques, including managing stakeholders, logistics, budget and administration
  • Develops skill-building activities, courses and programs to target employee and team development
  • Creates and manages work plans, communication, and sustainability processes to support learning and development initiatives
  • Collaborates with Sr Manager - Learning and Development on the standards and guidelines for presentation, classification and quality of learning content
  • Champions and models thinking and behavior changes aligned with Peabody development philosophies
  • Stays current on research and practices in learning and development; deepens expertise within the team and transfer practices to clients and HR partners
  • Performs additional learning and development duties or projects as assigned

 

The lifestyle:

This position is a full-time role, working from our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO. Peabody offers flexible work policies, including hybrid office/home working arrangements and opportunity to finish at noon on Fridays.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
  • 5 – 7 years job related experience in a large multinational organization, 2 years of experience may be substituted for an advanced degree
  • Experience designing, developing and delivering learning content and / or leveraging the use of third parties to do so
  • Experience is managing and leveraging the use of technology for learning including a Learning Management System
  • Experience in partnering with leaders and other SMEs
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with group leadership ability
  • Project management experience managing cohort development programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; SAP and SuccessFactors experience a plus
  • Certifications in Learning and Development is preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively
