We are currently seeking a Travel & Accommodation Administrator at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) – Coppabella Mine.  Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets.

 

About You:

We are seeking and dedicated Travel & Accommodation Administrator to join and support our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) – Coppabella Mine for Travel & Accommodation Administrative support.

 

Reporting directly to the Superintendent Administration & Reporting, you will play an integral role in supporting our sites travel and accommodation needs.  Working in a dynamic environment, you will support these needs in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring that business practices are followed, and continuous improvements are introduced.

 

Duties will include:

  • Booking and managing all accommodation requirements for Coppabella and Moorvale
  • Effective management of camp contracts
  • Booking and managing all staff travel requirements for the PCI mines, largely FIFO bookings and ad-hoc domestic travel requests.
  • Compiling and tracking our FIFO workforce flights in our database.
  • Completing accurate forecasting and actual reporting for all site travel and accommodation
  • Optimisation of accommodation and take-or-pay commitments, to ensure cost is optimised
  • Review and approval of invoices for payment
  • Reconciling the flight Credit card and travel company invoices.
  • Assist with any emergency booking changes with required.

 

About You:

  • 3 Years administration ideally and co-ordination experience preferably within a travel and accommodation environment.
  • SAP experiences essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and use internal databases and computer programs.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with problem solving ability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety as a way of life.
  • A Certificate in Business Administration would be advantageous but not essential.

 

The lifestyle:

This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Mon-Fri/ Mon-Thurs) roster with one rostered day off every other week for residential applicants in the Mackay, Nebo, Moranbah, Clermont area. DIDO options available to allow for a residential lifestyle with full camp facilities.
