About the role:

As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking additional open-cut Production Operators , at our Coppabella Mine. 

Located 140 kilometres South-West of Mackay, the mine produces premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export and domestic markets.

Our mine uses the below  equipment to mine:

• Trucks: CAT 789, EH4000, Komatsu 930e, Liebherr T282
• Graders: CAT 16M/H, 24M
• Dozers: CAT D10 and D11T/R
• Excavators: Hitachi 2500, 3600, 5500 & CAT6060
• Shovels: P&H 4100, 4100XPC
• Dragline: M8200

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, these positions are responsible for operating heavy mining equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve realistic production and cost targets.

The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a seven (7) on and seven (7) off roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.  Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.

You are an experienced multi-skilled Operator who can demonstrate an understanding of and a strong commitment to safety and understands the positive correlation between safety and productivity.
