Title:  Panel Supervisor

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Panel Supervisor for our North Goonyella mine. In this position you will provide statutory compliance to ensure activities are undertaken to an acceptable level of risk and that personnel are complying with the requirements of the SHMS and legislative requirements. Our North Goonyella mine is an underground longwall mine located 160 kilometers west of Mackay producing a premium quality, high strength coking coal for export markets.

The lifestyle:
This role is a permanent opportunity and is offered as a 7:7 day/night roster with FIFO and DIDO options. Flights will be included for the candidate to fly from any region into Mackay.  Relocation assistance will also be offered to the right candidate.

About you:

• A strong safety and risk management focus 
• Be an effective communicator and team player 
• 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or Deputy’s Certificate of Competency
• Competent in Supervisory skills
• S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation 
• Commitment to high performance standards
