Peabody is excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Technician to join our team at the Centurion Mine, one of Australia’s most advanced and long‑life underground coal operations. With a mine life exceeding 20 years and a strong pipeline of activity, Centurion is positioned to set new benchmarks in safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the flow of critical parts, consumables, and equipment across the site. You will support maintenance, engineering, and production teams by ensuring accurate inventory control, timely distribution, and compliance with Peabody’s safety and quality standards.

Job Description

Support day‑to‑day warehouse operations including receiving, dispatch, and stock allocation

Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts

Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and materials handling vehicles

Ensure all supplies are issued, tracked, and recorded in accordance with site procedures

Assist with stock optimisation to support production and maintenance teams

Uphold Peabody’s strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational discipline

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience in warehousing, stores, inventory, or logistics (mining environment desirable)

Forklift licence (LF) and strong mechanical or parts‑interpretation aptitude

Good computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems

Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support peak workloads
