We are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our expanding underground operation located approximately 160 km west of Mackay. Join a high-performing team dedicated to excellence in both safety and production.

Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all warehousing activities on site to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe management of critical materials that support mining operations. You will lead a capable team while upholding company policies, site procedures, and Peabody’s uncompromising safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and empower the warehouse team to deliver effective day-to-day operations.
• Build positive internal and external relationships through proactive, transparent communication.
• Maintain high standards of customer service for operational stakeholders.
• Allocate workload, set expectations, and drive best‑practice warehouse processes.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with operational requirements, targets, and KPI frameworks.
• Oversee Warehouse SOX compliance and operational performance metrics.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation programs.
• Monitor rotable and repairable materials to ensure optimal availability for critical equipment.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight including emergency, heavy haulage, and routine deliveries.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and workflow tasks.
• Maintain roster coverage, manage leave planning, and support a high‑performance team culture.

• Previous leadership experience in warehousing or supply chain within mining or heavy industry.
• Strong commitment to safety, people leadership, and operational excellence.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Competent in inventory systems and warehousing best practice.
