The Opportunity

Peabody is seeking an experienced engineering professional to join our team at Centurion Mine.

Reporting through the site leadership team, you will play a key role in the planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects. Your focus will be on managing project scope, budgets, schedules and performance outcomes while supporting safe, efficient and successful project delivery across site.

Your Impact

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of mining and infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and performance outcomes.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks while driving safe work practices.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise across project lifecycles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements and company processes.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts and business case documentation.

About You

You are an experienced engineering professional who enjoys delivering complex projects and building strong stakeholder relationships. You thrive on solving problems, leading multidisciplinary teams and achieving outcomes that create lasting value for the business.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering capital, operational or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management, planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors and project risks.
• Strong commercial, technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• A commitment to Safety, Integrity, Operational Excellence and Courageous Leadership.
