About the role:
We are currently seeking a CHPP Mechanical Coordinator to join the team at our our Centurion underground mine. Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. For more information on Centurion visit (centurionmine.com.au)
Reporting to the Prep Plant Manager, the Mechanical Coordinator is responsible for all scoping, planning, execution and reporting of mechanical maintenance and engineering project work at our Centurion CHPP.
Duties will include:
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for maintenance days and major shutdowns
- Scope, schedule, execute and report on work orders to ensure schedules are being complied and completed accurately
- Work with key stakeholders and team members to achieve targeted plant reliability, availability and statutory compliance
- Demonstrate safe behaviours and provide leadership and guidance to the team of CHPP Technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (including the Mechanical Engineering Management Plan) and operating cost budget for CHPP maintenance
- Identify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities

This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.

About You:
- Be committed to high standards of integrity, safety and performance
- 3 + years’ experience in a similar role in a CHPP environment.
- Strong knowledge of coal processing and an understanding of key drivers of a CHPP
- A trade or engineering background highly regarded
- S1, 2, 3 & G2 Qualifications
