Title: Weekend Day Shift Warehouse/Yard - Francisco UG
Job Summary / Essential Functions:
Under direction of the Warehouse Manager, this position will involve basic warehouse functions including receiving materials, stocking the warehouse, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory controls, computer data entry, operating loading equipment and loading materials for the underground mine.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in warehouse operations at an underground mining operation is desired.
- Knowledge of underground mining and maintenance parts, preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of State and Federal mining regulations pertaining to surface operations at an underground coal mine
- Must have working experience with material handling equipment and practices. (Forklifts, loaders, load securing techniques, etc.)
- Must be capable of identifying parts from descriptions and service manuals.
- Must maintain inventory records including issues, receipts, backorders, delivery tickets, etc.
- Must be capable of entering and retrieving information from the computerized inventory system.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

- Must meet attendance and availability expectations in the work area.
- Must keep track of supplies and parts, and reorder as needed.
- Must keep supplies and work area well organized.
- Must communicate with others on shift and on adjacent shifts to share workplace conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time on uneven surfaces.
- Must have the ability to be seated for up to 4 hours to operate equipment or vehicles.
- Must have the ability to wear required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHA.
- Must have the ability to climb up and down stairs/steps and climb on and off equipment and ladders.
- Must have the ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions (push, pull, twist, handle), and have rapid reflex movements of the arms and legs as well as good hand to eye coordination.
- Must have the ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and the ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Must have the ability to work in extreme conditions, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise from low to high decibels, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area.
NOTE: This is a “safety sensitive role”. Individuals in safety sensitive roles cannot have:
- an uncontrolled condition which is likely to cause loss of consciousness or ability to control a motor vehicle or other large machinery;
- an uncontrolled respiratory or cardiac dysfunction likely to interfere with the ability to operate a motor vehicle or other large machinery;
- a current clinical diagnosis of high blood pressure likely to interfere with ability to operate a motor vehicle or other large machinery;
- a current or unregulated mental or psychiatric disorder likely to interfere with ability to drive a motor vehicle or other large machinery;
- impaired hearing (with or without hearing aids) that would prevent the person from hearing crucial safety information or alarms;
- impaired vision. Individuals must meet the minimum vison requirements of at least 20/40 acuity (Snellen) with or without correction and at least 70° field of vision in horizontal meridian measured.
